15 ноября в селе Бутка Талицкого района Свердловской области состоялось историческое событие: кандидат в депутаты в Государственную Думу от КПРФ Павел Дорохин торжественно вручил партбилет Станиславу Глебову – двоюродному брату бывшего президента РФ Бориса Ельцина.
Чтобы понять значимость момента, следует вспомнить, как 20 лет назад Ельцин бросил на стол партбилет КПСС и принялся строить «новое государство». За время его правления развалился не только Союз, но и родная деревня —
Когда-то бывшая районным центром с населением в 15 тысяч человек, совхозами-миллионниками, собственной ковровой фабрикой и маслозаводом, сегодня деревня в полном упадке, а число жителей едва достигает 6 тысяч.
Так что отношение к бывшему президенту у земляков, мягко говоря, не лучшее: за время «ельцинской эпохи» здесь не только не появилось ни одного нового производства, но и рухнули те, что были. Когда одну из улиц Бутка решили назвать в честь Ельцина, возмущенные жители собрались чуть ли не на референдум, чтобы заблокировать это решение путем народной демократии. Но власть всё равно поступила по-своему. В непримиримой оппозиции новой власти оставался и Станислав Фёдорович — совестливый человек и активный общественник.
