Японский премьер предрёк успех в решении территориального вопроса с Россией
Японии удастся разрешить территориальный вопрос в отношениях с Россией и заключить мирный договор. Такое мнение высказал премьер-министр страны Синдзо Абэ сегодня, передает ТАСС.
Глава правительства отметил, что провел уже 14-ю встречу с президентом России Владимиром Путиным. «Разрешив территориальный вопрос, мы положим конец ненормальной ситуации, когда между нашими странами и через 71 год после окончания войны нет мирного договора», — отметил Абэ. Подписание документа, по его словам, приведет к расширению японо-российского сотрудничества в экономике, энергетике и других областях.
23 сентября газета «Иомиури» сообщила, что Япония в качестве условия заключения мирного договора потребует от России только два острова Курильской гряды: Хабомаи и Шикотан. Переговоры по поводу Итурупа и Кунашира Токио намерен продолжить после подписания документа. Впоследствии МИД страны опроверг данную информацию, заявив, что «правительство будет упорно вести переговоры, направленные на заключение мирного договора с Россией на основе решения вопроса принадлежности всех четырех островов».
3 сентября глава японского правительства назвал ненормальной ситуацию, при которой между двумя странами нет мирного договора. Абэ призвал поставить точку в этом вопросе. По его словам, необходимо, завершив территориальный спор, начать строить новые отношения, начать новую эпоху, которая продлится еще 70 лет.
В этот же день Путин, комментируя итоги переговоров с премьер-министром Японии Синдзо Абэ, на которых в том числе речь шла и о спорных островах Курильской гряды, отметил, что необходимые условия для подписания мирного договора между Россией и Японией — высокий уровень доверия и отсутствие проигравшей стороны.
2 сентября в интервью агентству Bloomberg глава государства заявил, что Россия не торгует своими территориями.
Япония оспаривает территориальную принадлежность четырех островов Курильской гряды — Кунашира, Итурупа, Хабомаи и Шикотана, ставших российскими (вошедших в состав СССР) по итогам Второй мировой войны.
