Из берлинского музея Боде похитили золотую монету весом в 100 кг
Стокилограммовая золотая монета номинальной стоимостью в $1 млн и весом в 100 кг была похищена из Музея Боде в Берлине, сообщает в понедельник газета Die Welt со ссылкой на полицию.
По данным газеты, диаметр монеты составляет 53 см, толщина — 3 см. На аверсе монеты изображен профиль королевы Елизаветы ll.
При этом стоимость золота, из которого изготовлена монета, составляет около 3,7 млн евро. Эта монета была одолжена Музею Боде руководством другого музея.
По мнению полиции, грабителей было несколько. Грабители проникли в музей через окно при помощи лестницы, которая была позднее обнаружена поблизости.
Художественный музей Боде входит в состав ансамбля Музейного острова, расположенного в Берлине. Свое название получил по имени музейного деятеля Германии Вильгельма фон Боде.
